CAF Goalkeeper of the Year Chiamaka Nnadozie has added yet another accolade to her growing list of career honours, claiming the British Gas Barclays Women’s Super League Save of the Month award for November.
The Super Falcons star, who joined Brighton & Hove Albion this season, earned the award for her spectacular stop in the 1–1 draw against Liverpool. Nnadozie produced a moment of pure brilliance, springing across her goal to tip Fuka Nagano’s powerful long-range strike onto the crossbar—drawing widespread praise from fans and analysts.
Her save edged out strong competition from Sabrina D’Angelo (Aston Villa), Faye Kirby (Liverpool), and Ayaka Yamashita (Manchester City).
The Nigerian international had narrowly missed out on the October award to Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar, but her consistent excellence throughout November ensured she secured this month’s honour.
With this latest recognition, Nnadozie continues to reinforce her reputation as one of the world’s elite goalkeepers.
