The Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) has announced the official calendar for its 2026 season, with activities scheduled to run from March to May across three major stages.
In a circular dated February 20, 2026, and addressed to male beach soccer club secretaries, coordinators, as well as state beach soccer and football associations, the league management confirmed preparations for the new campaign.
According to the statement, the league will begin with refresher courses for coaches and referees in March, which will be conducted virtually as part of efforts to enhance technical standards within the competition.
The opening phase of the league season will take place in Kebbi State from March 19 to March 22, marking Round One of the competition.
Round Two will then be staged in Kaduna State between April 10 and April 12, where participating clubs will continue their quest for a place in the final stage.
The season will culminate with the Super Finals scheduled to hold in Abuja from May 29 to May 31.
The announcement follows a successful stakeholders’ meeting involving the league management and participating clubs as preparations intensify for the 2026 campaign.
The NBSL management also extended its greetings to all registered beach soccer clubs across the country while expressing optimism for a competitive and well-organised season.
