Guinea Storm Past Niger to Set Up Flamingos Showdown in U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers

Guinea delivered a commanding performance on Saturday to secure qualification for the next round of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, overpowering Niger with authority across both legs.

Playing on home soil, Guinea sealed a 3-0 victory in the second leg, completing an emphatic 8-2 aggregate win after their earlier 5-2 triumph away. The dominant display highlighted their attacking firepower and tactical discipline, as they consistently outclassed Niger in both encounters.

The result confirms Guinea’s place in the next stage of the qualifiers, where the challenge intensifies significantly. Awaiting them are Nigeria’s Flamingos, one of the continent’s most formidable youth sides.

That upcoming clash promises to be a high-stakes battle, with both teams vying for a coveted spot at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
