Ikorodu City have booked their place in the final of the 2026 President Federation Cup after a dramatic semi-final victory over Nasarawa United, winning 4–2 on penalties following a 1–1 draw in regulation time.
Nasarawa United struck first through Bright Amadi in the 41st minute, cancelling out Ikorodu City’s early opener from Ibrahim Ayola in the 11th minute. Both sides battled intensely for a winner, but neither could be separated after 90 minutes.
In the resulting penalty shootout, Nasarawa United faltered as Ikorodu City showed composure to convert their spot-kicks and secure a 4–2 victory, ending Nasarawa United’s campaign in the competition.
The result continues Ikorodu City’s remarkable penalty shootout run in the tournament. They have now won three consecutive shootouts, having previously edged past Enyimba FC 5–4 in the Round of 16 and Barau FC 5–4 in the quarter-finals.
Ikorodu City now advance to the final, carrying strong momentum and proven record.
