David Akintola Confirms Interest from Al Ahly: “I Am Open to the Move”

Nigerian winger David Akintola has revealed that Egyptian giants Al Ahly are showing interest in signing him. In an exclusive interview with Btolat, Akintola stated: “My agent informed me in the past few days that there is indeed interest from Al Ahly to sign me at the end of the season.”

The 30-year-old, whose contract runs until next June, expressed openness to a potential transfer: “My contract expires next June, and I am open to this step and a move to Al Ahly.”

Akintola’s candid comments have fueled speculation about a possible summer move, with the winger hinting that he is ready to explore opportunities at one of Africa’s most successful clubs.

The Hull City player is yet to get any previous experience with an Africa team apart from FC Ebedei where he had his youth career.

He also played in Scandinavian countries, Cyprus, and Turkey.
