Nigeria has officially been readmitted into the CAF A Coaching Convention, clearing the way for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to resume CAF A coaching courses nationwide.
The decision comes as a major boost for the country’s coaching community after years of anticipation, with Nigerian coaches now able to continue their development toward earning one of the highest coaching qualifications in African football.
The readmission is expected to significantly strengthen football development in Nigeria, particularly in the areas of technical education and capacity building for coaches.
With the programme restored, local coaches will once again have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and align with modern coaching standards recognised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The move is also seen as a positive step for both grassroots and elite football development, as more Nigerian coaches gain access to advanced training and certification pathways.
