Rivers United to Face Rangers as NFF Releases President Federation Cup Round of 32 Fixtures

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially released the fixtures for the Round of 32 of the 2026 President Federation Cup, with the clash between Rivers United and Rangers International emerging as the headline fixture of the round.

Both clubs are among the top contenders in the ongoing 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season, setting the stage for a highly anticipated showdown in Nigeria’s oldest domestic cup competition.

Former champions Enyimba FC will face Gombe United, while Bendel Insurance takes on Crown FC in another notable fixture.

Other NPFL sides, including Shooting Stars, Akwa United, Plateau United, and Kwara United, will also battle for places in the Round of 16.

The NFF is expected to announce official venues, dates, and kick-off times for the fixtures in the coming days, with matches likely to be played at neutral venues in line with Federation Cup regulations.

The President Federation Cup remains one of Nigeria’s most prestigious football competitions, offering clubs from different divisions the chance to compete for national honours and continental qualification.

Defending champions Kwara United will also be aiming to continue their title defence following their memorable triumph in the previous edition of the tournament.
