Nigeria’s senior women’s national team have arrived in Rabat, Morocco, in style ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), making a memorable entrance that proudly-time African champions travelled in specially designed traditional outfits, presenting a unified and elegant look as they prepare in Rabat after completing a productive 10-day training camp in Casablanca. Spirits were high as the players were seen smiling celebrated the nation’s rich cultural heritage.

The squad arrived in Rabat after completing a productive 10-day training camp in Casablanca. Spirits were high as the players were seen smiling aboard the team bus, dressed in matching green-and-white tie-dye African gowns paired with beautifully styled traditional headwraps.
The unique departure attire has drawn admiration for its vibrant display of Nigerian culture, while also reflecting the renewed sense of unity, confidence, and support within the squad ahead of the tournament.
Now settled in Rabat, the Super Falcons will play all of their Group C fixtures in the Moroccan capital. Their campaign for a record-extending 11th WAFCON title begins with an opening match against Malawi on Tuesday, July 28, before they face Zambia and Egypt in their remaining group-stage encounters.
