Alessandro Cavalli: Italian-Nigerian right-back joins US Semine
Italian-Nigerian defender Alessandro Cavalli has joined Swiss club US Semine, completing his move after a period without a club.
The 19-year-old right-back joined on 14 August 2026, adding a player with experience in Italy’s lower divisions to the club’s squad. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.
Cavalli was most recently registered with ACR Messina, whom he left in September 2025. Before that, he spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Notaresco, having moved there from Messina’s Under-19 side in January 2025.
His record includes one appearance in the Coppa Serie D, in which he played the full 90 minutes. His career history also includes time with Fermana’s youth team and Mantova Under-17s.
Born in Bologna on 18 September 2006, Cavalli stands 1.85m tall and operates primarily at right-back. He is right-footed and holds Italian and Nigerian nationality.
Cavalli began his recorded youth career with Mantova Under-17s before joining Fermana Youth in 2023. He subsequently moved to Messina Under-19 on a free transfer in July 2024, then joined Notaresco on loan midway through the following season.
After the loan ended, Cavalli returned to ACR Messina before becoming unattached later in 2025. His arrival at US Semine marks his latest club move and his first recorded transfer since leaving the Italian side.
US Semine have now secured Cavalli’s services, with the defender joining the club on 14 August 2026.
