Sudtirol sign Italy-Nigeria forward Alvin Okoro from Venezia on loan

Italy-Nigeria centre-forward Alvin Okoro has joined Sudtirol from Venezia on loan, completing a move from Serie A to the Serie B club.
The 21-year-old has moved to Sudtirol on 29 August 2026, with the loan scheduled to run until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the deal.
Okoro, who was born in Vicenza, is a right-footed striker and stands 1.81m tall. He was registered with Venezia before making the switch, having been valued at €2m at the time of the transfer.
The move gives Okoro another opportunity to gain first-team experience after a series of temporary spells in Italian football. He spent the second half of the 2025-26 season at Juve Stabia, joining the club on loan from Venezia on 2 February before returning to his parent side at the end of June.
Earlier in that campaign, Okoro had been loaned to Juventus Next Gen. That spell began in August 2025 and ended in February 2026, when he returned to Venezia before moving on to Juve Stabia.
Okoro joined Venezia from the club’s under-19 side after initially moving there from Pordenone’s under-17 team in September 2022. Before that, he had been part of the Udinese youth system.
His latest move takes him into Sudtirol’s squad for the 2026-27 Serie B campaign. The forward is contracted to Venezia beyond the loan period, with the recorded return date set for 30 June 2027.
Okoro has now completed his loan transfer from Venezia to Sudtirol.
