Bendel Insurance celebrate ‘massive’ NPFL victory at Kwara United

Bendel Insurance media officer Kehinde Osagiede has described the club’s 2-1 away win against Kwara United as a “massive result” for their Nigeria Premier Football League campaign.

The Benin Arsenal secured all three points in Sunday’s encounter after producing a strong performance on the road, a result Osagiede believes sends a clear message to their league rivals.

Speaking to Completesports.com after the match, he said the victory could provide an important foundation as Bendel Insurance seek to build momentum in the NPFL.

“It was a sweet win for Bendel Insurance against Kwara United,” Osagiede said. “Picking up all three points on the road was a massive result for the entire team.”

The media officer praised the players for maintaining their tactical discipline during a demanding 90 minutes and highlighted their determination to protect the result.

“The performance of the players was brilliant, and I am extremely proud of the fighting spirit they showed on the pitch,” he added.

Bendel Insurance’s success at Kwara United gives the team a significant boost in confidence as they return to Benin City.

The win also highlights the side’s ability to collect points away from home, with the club now aiming to carry the momentum into their next fixtures.

Osagiede said the nature of the performance was as important as the final result, with the squad combining organisation and commitment to complete the victory.

Bendel Insurance will look to build on the three points as their NPFL campaign continues.
