Brentford rules Frank Onyeka out of Premier League opener against Tottenham

Brentford manager, Thomas Frank has revealed that Frank Onyeka won’t be fit for the club’s Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Onyeka is facing a late fitness run to be in action for the Bees as the League kicked off and the Bees boss says Onyeka will be assessed to know his level of fitness and how close he is to match fitness.

“Bryan is 100% ready and will start on Sunday. Christian is ready to be involved,” Thomas was quoted by Soccernet.

“Frank will be assessed to see how close he is. Christian is a tiny bit behind the fitness we want to be in, but he’s in a good place.”

Brentford gave the top guns in the English Premier League a hard time by getting a famous double against Manchurian United and became the only side that champions, Manchester City couldn’t defeat in two outings.

The Bees finished in the top ten in the Premier League last season as they try to keep their Precious assets fit for the 2023/2024 season.
