Enyimba, Abia Warriors, Abia Comets get new board members

Fresh board members have been announced to work with the management heads of Enyimba FC, Abia Warriors and Abia Comets.
In a release on Tuesday, the three clubs owned by Governor Alex Otti led government will have others officials that will work together with the chairmen in a bid to ensure success for the teams.
The State Commissioner for Sports and Youth development, Sir Nwaobilor Ananaba, said the board members where carefully picked by Governor Otti, based on their experiences in football management.
He charged the board members to abide by the terms of their appointment, and work with the club chairmen closely through open and regular communication, bereft of conflicts and ensure effective governance to achieve success in line with Governor’s desire of building a new Abia.
The appointed Board members into Enyimba board include: Eric I. Asomugha (vice chairman), Frank Adiele Alaribe (secretary), Uche Okechukwu, Nwazue Ernest Chibuike, Dr .Barr. Chijioke Collins O, Ude Jerry, Herbert Okonkwo, Raymond Izuwa, Onwunali Jap Nnamdi.
For Abia Warriors, the added board members are James Agbaha Ochunkwo, Francis Obinna N. (Secretary), Nwoke Chibuzor Emmanuel, Anokwuru Dennis Chinonye, Nwokocha Charles Agwu, Ukaegbu Herbert, Okezie Chimezie, Francis Chibuike Chilaka, Emeka Nwanna.
While for ABIA COMETS, they are Onuoha Marshal Ibe, Henry Nna, Henry Steven (Secretary), Anyanwu Hope Ibezim, Onwuchekwa Chukwu, Okereke Chinedu Emmanuel, Chidi U. Obasi.
Both Enyimba FC and Abia Warriors are campaigning in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL while Abia Comets are representing the state in the lower division called the Nigeria National League, NNL.
