Ademola Lookman reveals plans for 2025

By Monsurah Olatunji

Reigning African Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman has revealed what needed to be done following Atalanta’s 1-1 draw against Lazio on Saturday in their quest for the Scudetto.
Compatriot, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru gave Lazio the lead in the first half after a neat play saw him through on goal. However, with just two minutes of regular time to play, Lookman worked out an assist for Marco Brescianini to tap into an empty net and rescue a point for Atalanta.
An incredible performance that earned him his seventh Man of the Match award of the season.
Reacting after the match, Lookman admitted that it was a difficult game to play and the team had to take positives from the draw ahead of a new year
“A positive point; let’s move forward,” he told DAZN via Tuttomercatoweb
“It wasn’t an easy match, the important thing is to take home a point. Let’s push until the end; that’s what we have to do.
“The club had a fantastic 2024, so we want to continue doing the same thing and the New Year will be better.”
Meanwhile, Atalanta’s opening test of 2025 will be the Supercoppa against Inter Milan.
