Nigeria striker Ademola Lookman has reiterated his side’s mental readiness for their quarterfinal battle against Angola in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday.
The three-times African champions will need to reproduce same clinical form against Cameroon when they face off with the Palancas Negras for a place in the last four.
And the Super Eagles two-goal hero against the Indomitable Lions, has assured that his team will go all out for a win in an anticipated difficult quarter-final showdown with the Southern Africa nation.
“It’s going to be a difficult game but we are looking forward to it,” Lookman told media.
“We fought hard for the win against Cameroon and won’t relent in the next game.
“The Angolan team is good which will make the game more interesting. Our target is to go all the way and we will be fighting hard to achieve that.”
The quarterfinal match is billed to take place at the Felix Houphet Boigney Stadium in Abidjan.
