Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have launched a €70 million bid for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, as they intensify efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the formal offer to Napoli includes €65 million up front, with an additional €5 million in performance-related add-ons.
Negotiations are also underway with the player’s representatives to finalize personal terms.
Al Hilal are prepared to offer the 25-year-old forward a contract worth €30 million per season, a deal reportedly backed by newly appointed head coach Simone Inzaghi.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, scored 24 goals in the Turkish Süper Lig, boosting his market value and attracting interest from clubs across Europe and the Middle East.
He is one of three marquee signings Al Hilal are pursuing, with Atalanta midfielder Ederson and AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez also on the club’s radar.
The Saudi Pro League side are looking to make a statement ahead of their Club World Cup campaign, with Osimhen seen as a key addition to their attacking lineup.
