Asisat Oshoala reveals Bay FC target and penalty ritual

After scoring the winning penalty in Bay FC’s 1-0 win over Seattle Reign, Nigeria forward Asisat Oshoala spoke at halftime with the media on her penalty ritual.
The Super Falcons striker wrong-footed Reign goalie in the 27th minute from the spot kick to win the match for the visitors.
The goal increased her tally to six after 21 NWSL games in her debut season with the team.
“To be honest, I just go to look at the goalkeeper’s move before taking the shot. She doesn’t have to think for me,” Oshoala said.
The team in eighth position occupies the last playoff spots in the NWSL, as Oshoala stated, the motives of the team for their win over Seattle Reign.
“We know how important the game is. We had to be cautious as a team and try to go out to get at the end of every opportunity we had. The game plan is to keep attacking today.”
Ahead of the game, Oshoala changed her hairstyle color. From color pink to blue, the former FC Barcelona star changed her hair color following the footsteps of national teammate Rasheedat Ajibade.
