Bayern Munich rule out further transfers after €100m summer outlay and Olise speculation

Bayern Munich have closed their summer transfer window after confirming the arrivals of Ismael Saibari, Nathanael Brown and Bara Sabouko N’Diaye, and moving to shut down intense speculation over the futures of Michael Olise and Alphonso Davies.

The German champions have decided no further signings will be made in this window, with sporting director Max Eberl stating that the club’s business is “conclusively finished” during a news conference to present new signing Nathanael Brown.

Eberl’s confirmation comes after weeks of rumours surrounding potential incomings and the status of key first‐team players, particularly Olise and Davies, whose situations had dominated talk around Bayern’s squad planning in recent days.

Bayern spending passes €100m mark

Bayern have invested just over €100m this summer to secure the services of Morocco international Saibari, German youngster Brown and Senegalese player N’Diaye.

The Bavarian club are satisfied that these three additions are sufficient to reshape their squad for the coming season and have therefore “closed the door” on further transfer activity.

By publicly drawing a line under their business, Bayern have also sought to stabilise the environment around the team and reduce the swirl of speculation that has surrounded the club during the latter stages of the window.

Olise and Davies speculation addressed

The decision effectively answers the questions that had been repeatedly raised about the futures of Olise and Davies.

In recent weeks, both players had been the subject of sustained media reports suggesting possible moves away from the Allianz Arena, with constant discussion about whether Bayern would still look to adjust their attacking and defensive options before the deadline.

By insisting that the summer signings are complete, Eberl has indicated that Bayern do not intend to make changes involving those two high‐profile names at this stage.
