Beyond Limits FA Retain Gothia Cup U-17 Title with Another Unbeaten Campaign in Sweden

Beyond Limits FA have successfully defended their Gothia Cup U-17 title, emerging champions for the second consecutive year after another dominant unbeaten campaign in Sweden.

The academy side of Remo Stars once again showcased their quality on the international stage, finishing the tournament with an impressive record of 20 goals scored while conceding just once to cement their reputation as one of the competition’s standout youth teams.

Their journey to the 2026 Gothia Cup crown began with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over ASEC Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire before edging Ghana’s Right to Dream 2-1. They then played out a goalless draw against Peru’s AD Cantolao to conclude the group stage unbeaten.

Beyond Limits stepped up their performances in the knockout rounds, thrashing Sweden’s IF Brommapojkarna 7-0 before defeating IFK Göteborg 3-0 to book their place in the final. They capped off a remarkable tournament with a commanding 7-0 victory over India’s Sudeva Delhi FC to lift the prestigious trophy once again.

Prior to his role at Goal.com, Samuel freelanced for various print and broadcast media outlets in Nigeria, including Graphics Newspaper, Radio Nigeria, Grace FM, and Savid Newspaper.
