Cyriel Dessers hits brace in Rangers 5-0 win over Hearts

Nigeria international, Cyriel Dessers scored two goals Rangers overpowered Hearts 5-0 in Saturday’s Scottish Premiership fixture.
The 29-year-old found the net in each half as the Gers brightened their chances of a 56th Scottish first-tier diadem
Following goals from Mohammed Diomande and Oscar Cortes, Dessers scored his first in the 44th minute to put Rangers 3-0 ahead.
Three minutes into the second half, he grabbed his second goal to put his side 4-0 up before super-sub Fabio Silva completed the destruction with 25 minutes left on the clock.
The Super Eagles star has now scored 12 goals in 24 league appearances for Rangers this season, 16 goals in all competitions in this campaign.
He is now joint third in the top scorers’ chart with Rangers teammate James Tavernier on 12 league goals while Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland lead with 18 goals.
The win saw Rangers go five points clear of title rivals Celtic with 67 points.
