By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Nigeria-eligible forward Edna Imade scored for Spanish women’s top-flight side, Granada, as they dispatched Levante 3-2 on Sunday.

The visitors had to come from a goal down to secure the win after Ana Franco’s early goal in the ninth minute at the Ciudad Deportiva del Bunel.

Imade started the comeback with the equalizer in the 53rd minute.

Laura Requena put the travelers ahead for the first time in the match three minutes later.

Alexia extended the lead with Granada’s third goal in the 62nd minute before a late goal from Ines Rizo reduced the deficit for Levante.

24-year-old Imade has scored seven goals in 11 league games for Granada this season.

Her team occupy the ninth position on the log with 13 points from 11 games.

The former Cacereno player, who is yet to declare his international allegiance, is eligible to play for Nigeria, Spain, and Morocco.

She has Nigerian parents in Morocco and has spent plenty of her life in Spain.
