Samuel Chukwueze begins rehabilitation after successful hip surgery

Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze has undergone successful surgery in London to repair a ruptured tendon in his left hip.

The AC Milan winger required an operation on the ruptured tendon of the tensor fasciae latae muscle. The 26-year-old is now expected to return to Milan, where he will begin a rehabilitation programme under the supervision of the club’s medical team.

AC Milan have not yet confirmed how long Chukwueze’s recovery is expected to take or provided a possible date for his return to competitive football.

The injury is a setback for Chukwueze as he continues his efforts to establish himself in the AC Milan squad.
