Jose Peseiro begins discussion with NFF over contract renewal

Head Coach of Nigeria, Jose Peseiro has revealed that negotiations with the Nigeria Football Federation, to renew his contract will commence soon.

The Portuguese tactician led the country national football team to finish second at the just concluded African Cup of Nations, AFCON tournament held in Ivory Coast.

He was handed a mandate of reaching the semi final which he was able to surpass with runners up position.

Peseiro’s current contract will end at the end of this month and is looking forward to open talks for extension.

“My contract ends at the end of this month. Now I go to rest and I am speaking with the NFF to know about my future.

“Now I need to rest as I’m very tired, everybody is tired but we are speaking together about my future.”
