Juric praises Akinsanmiro after Monza’s 4-0 win over Cagliari

Monza head coach Ivan Juric praised Ebenezer Akinsanmiro after the Super Eagles midfielder helped his side to a 4-0 Serie A victory over Cagliari on Monday.

Akinsanmiro started the match as Monza produced an impressive display, with his performance earning specific recognition from Juric. The Croatian believes the 21-year-old is making encouraging progress as he continues to establish himself at the club.

“Akinsanmiro played very well today and is improving. I didn’t think Foe Ondoa could play at this level yet. He’s incredibly intelligent, he’s earned his place. Great game today,” Juric said, as quoted by SOS Fanta.

The manager’s comments reflect his increasing confidence in Akinsanmiro, who is attempting to secure a regular place in Monza’s starting XI after joining on loan from Inter Milan.

The midfielder has made five Serie A appearances for Monza this season and has provided one assist. He is still waiting for his first league goal of the campaign.

Akinsanmiro spent the previous season at Pisa, where he featured in 24 league matches and recorded one assist. That spell gave him valuable experience and regular playing time in Italian football.

He will now aim to build on that experience under Juric as Monza continue their league campaign. His latest display could strengthen his position within the squad and increase his chances of further involvement in the starting line-up.
