Landon Emenalo outlines three positions he can play after joining Celtic

Landon Emenalo, the son of former Super Eagles defender Michael Emenalo, says he can play at left-back, in midfield or as a third centre-back after joining Celtic on loan from Chelsea.
The young defender arrived at Celtic Park during the summer transfer window but reported later than planned as he continued his recovery from an injury setback.
Emenalo took part in training with the Hoops on Tuesday, beginning the process of settling into his new surroundings and starting his spell with the Scottish club.
“It is really an honour to be here, especially after all this time,” Emenalo told Celtic’s YouTube channel. “It’s so good to train today, meet the guys and can’t wait to get started.”
He said the welcome he received from the club had helped ease his arrival, while his previous relationship with Chelsea team-mate Shim Mheuka provided him with a familiar face.
“I know Shim Mheuka from Chelsea. It’s nice to know somebody here but they welcome me. It is easy to join,” he added.
“Since he has joined I have been watching and reading. He had done well. I have known him since Under-15.”
Emenalo also said the manager and other members of the club had offered encouragement as he adjusted to his new environment.
“They seem happy that I am finally here and he gave me some words of encouragement and welcomed me,” he said.
“Just looking on and seeing the stadium, it’s crazy. I can’t wait to get out there.”
The young defender described himself as a versatile player, although he regards left-back as his main position.
“I am a left back. I can drift inside and play as a midfielder. I can also play as a third centre back,” he said.
“I am a hard worker and versatile. There is not really a lot I can’t do.”
Emenalo will now aim to maintain his fitness, move beyond the injury setback and demonstrate his ability during his time at Celtic Park.
