Marseille open to January transfer for Nigeria midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi

Olympique Marseille are prepared to consider offers for Tochukwu Nnadi when the transfer window reopens in January, with the Ligue 1 club also willing to let the Nigerian midfielder leave on loan.
Nnadi joined Marseille from Belgian Pro League side Zulte Waregem in January 2025. The defensive midfielder made eight appearances for the French club during the second half of last season.
However, the 23-year-old has found opportunities harder to come by this campaign and is not regarded as an essential part of Marseille’s plans.
According to Get French Football News, Marseille would consider either a permanent transfer or a temporary move for Nnadi in January.
A departure could allow the midfielder to secure the regular playing time he currently lacks as he seeks to strengthen his position on the international scene. Nnadi has previously contributed an assist in a Ligue 1 match in which Marseille beat Angers.
Marseille’s financial position may also influence their approach during the January window. The former Ligue 1 champions are under scrutiny from the French football financial watchdog, the DNCG, after failing to satisfy its financial requirements in June.
Any move for Nnadi would therefore give Marseille the option of reducing their squad costs while providing the player with an opportunity to revive his progress elsewhere.
