Morocco is seeking to test its strength against Nigeria’s senior men’s national team in an international friendly as part of its preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Atlas Lions, who will host the biennial tournament later in November 2025, are determined to win the trophy on home soil and have lined up a series of friendly matches to ensure they are in top shape.
According to reports, Morocco has already confirmed a friendly against Benin and is now looking to add Nigeria, Senegal, and Ivory Coast to its pre-tournament schedule.
A friendly against the Super Eagles would give the Atlas Lions a stern test, given Nigeria’s rich football history and recent performances in international competitions.
