Musa Hits Brace in CSKA Moscow Win Over Krasnodar

Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa played a key role for CSKA Moscow as he scored a second-half brace to help his team come from a goal down and secure a 2-1 victory over Kuban Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.

Yuri Gazinskiy opened the scoring for Kuban Krasnodar in the 53rd minute, giving them the lead. However, Musa equalized 20 minutes later with a goal of his own. The Leicester City loanee then netted the winner for CSKA Moscow in the 85th minute.

Musa’s impressive performance contributed to CSKA Moscow’s comeback, securing three crucial points in the league. The victory moved CSKA Moscow to second place in the table with 51 points from 27 games, positioning them six points behind leaders Locomotiv Moscow. CSKA Moscow is set to face Zenit Saint Petersburg in their upcoming game next Sunday.
