Nasarawa United, Plateau, and Lobi Stars seal President Federation Cup Round of 32 berths

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) teams continue to progress to the latter stage of the 2025 President Federation Cup.

After Rangers International FC edged out Kano Pillars on Tuesday, Nasarawa United joined them with a 2-0 win over Flight FC on Wednesday.

Goals from Ugochukwu Leonard and Kabir Balogun sealed the victory and a place into the Round of 32.

Similarly, Plateau United pipped Abia State champions, Ahudiya Nnem 2-1 to also book their spot in the Round of 32.

Godwin Samuel broke the deadlock for Ahudiya Nnem from the penalty spot.

Vincent Temitope equalized for the NPFL side also from the penalty spot before Sunday Anthony’s header sealed victory for Plateau United.

Ahudiya Nnem defeated Abia Warriors and Enyimba FC on their way to winning the Abia State FA Cup before bowing out to Plateau United.

At the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, two second half goals lifted Lobi Stars to a 2-0 win against Discovery Talent Academy.
