Nigeria winger Mohammed Garba linked with AS Trencin move from Nasarawa United

Nigeria winger Mohammed Garba, who plays for Nasarawa United, has been linked with a move to AS Trencin in Slovakia’s Nike Liga.

The 19-year-old is a left winger and is currently contracted to the Nigerian club until 30 June 2027. The rumour, dated 14 August 2026, concerns a potential move from the NPFL to Slovakia’s top flight, with AS Trencin named as the proposed destination.

Garba has made 42 NPFL appearances, scoring five goals and providing one assist. He has played 2,365 minutes in the competition, with his goals coming at an average of one every 473 minutes.

The youngster’s listed market value is €50,000. He was born on 26 July 2007 and is a right-footed attacker, although his main position is on the left side of the attack.

Garba’s current deal means Nasarawa United retain him under contract beyond the current rumour. No transfer has been confirmed, and the available details do not indicate that an agreement has been reached between the clubs. For now, he remains a Nasarawa United player ahead of a possible move to AS Trencin.
