NPFL: Abubakar Bala reveals untold secrets of Katsina United’s decent runs

Technical Adviser of Katsina United, Abubakar Bala has attributed motivation and conducive environment to Katsina United’s impressive runs in the current Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The Chanji Boys are on six matches unbeaten streak and have also recorded six wins in nine matches since Baba took over as the tactician of the country’s topflight club.

A 3-2 Northwest derby against Kano Pillars saw the trio of Jonas Emmanuel, Falolu Afeez and Yahaya Nazifi scoring for Katsina while Mustapha Ibrahim and Usman Mustapha scored for Pillars in Katsina on Wednesday.

and the former Niger Tornadoes manager ascribed their good runs as payback to the management and fans.

“We have no excuse not to perform well as you can see the environment is conducive with fans and everyone giving their support.

“The management is also doing their parts with motivation of the players and officials, salaries are being paid regularly and other incentives are provided to encourage the team so we can only give back to them with good performance and turning positive results.

“I’m really happy with the win but we still need to work very hard to make sure we protect our goals win games without panic, Bala told Nigeriafootball.ng after the match in Katsina.

Katsina United have now garnered 34 points from 22 games placing them seventh on the log.

They will next be guest to Lobi Stars on Sunday in Lafia.
