NPFL: Ibrahim Dada vows Niger Tornadoes will avoid relegation

By Wale Mustapha

Chairman of Niger Tornadoes, Ibrahim Dada, has expressed confidence that the club will retain its Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) status, ahead of their decisive final match of the season.

The Minna-based side currently sit 14th on the NPFL table with 48 points after 37 matches. A positive result against Kano Pillars on Sunday will guarantee their survival in the top flight.

Despite a difficult campaign, Dada assured supporters that the players are fully motivated to deliver when it matters most.

“I want to assure our fans that we will not let them down. We will do everything possible to escape relegation,” Dada told Nigerian Players Gallery.

“Our players are 100% ready and will do everything to make you guys smile.”

The Tornadoes, also known as the Ikon Allah Boys, will be hoping to end the season on a high and secure their place in the NPFL for the 2025/26 season.
