Players and officials of Kwara United have been rewarded with a cash gift of One Million Naira following their 1-0 victory over Nasarawa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 31 clash on Wednesday in Ilorin.
Lawal Abayomi’s second-half goal was enough to secure the win for the Harmony Warriors, lifting them to 10th place on the NPFL table.
The reward was presented by one of the club’s top supporters, Bashorun Kayode Bankole, who described the gesture as a motivation for the players to maintain their strong performances in upcoming matches.
“This is to motivate you to perform better in subsequent games,” Bankole said after the match.
Kwara United will next face Plateau United in their Matchday 32 fixture in Jos, where they will aim to build on their recent success.
