NPFL: Yemi Olanrewaju admits Enyimba under pressure to beat Bayelsa United
By Wale Mustapha
Head Coach of Enyimba, Yemi Olanrewaju has disclosed his side’s readiness to get over their anxiety to achieve a decent result against Bayelsa United on Sunday.
The People’s Elephant will be taking on their Prosperity Boys counterpart in Yenagoa in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) season.
Yema as Olanrewaju is fondly called guided the nine-time league champions to a 2-1 in the corresponding fixture last season.
He said the Aba-based team will be banking on their recent form as he envisaged a difficult outing.
“Yeah we know it’s going to be a difficult game, we won them last time in Yenagoa and this time you know they would double their preparedness,” he told Enyimba media.
“But we know what is at stake as well, so we are going they with a lot of determination and hope to get the maximum points.
“We are not going to defend and sit back, we are going to attack them and aim for the maximum points.
“We know it’s a difficult ground to play, it’s a small pitch and we don’t really know them much due to lots of changes.
“They have a new Coach and a lot of new players, we don’t really know them much like last season we knew most of their important players.”
