OFFICIAL: Sporting Lagos snaps Tochukwu Micheal from Remo Stars

Remo Stars’ midfielder, Tochukwu Micheal has completed a short loan move to Sporting Lagos till the end of current Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
The young midfielder who joined the Sky Blues Stars at the start of current season from Nasarawa United could not hold on to first team place in Daniel Ogunmodede’s team hence the need to move.
Sporting Lagos who are campaign in the Nigerian top flight for the first time after gaining promotion from second division last season have been experiencing dip in form of late.
The Noisy Lagosians are yet to record victory in their last seven games with three draws and four defeats to show for it.
Embattled Coach Paul Offor will be delighted to have the creative Micheal who is expected to add more quality to the side as they hope to rediscover their lost form.
An excited Micheal said the move was needed for the growth of his career and will do his best to help team come back to winning and challenge for honors again.
“I’m happy this move came through and I’m willing to repay the club for seeing me as important and needed addition to the team,” he promised.
“I believe the current situation is just a phase, we will surely get back to our usual shape and do better before the end of the season.”
Tochukwu Micheal was an unused substitute in Sporting Lagos’ 3-1 loss to Insurance FC on Saturday and will be looking forward to make his debut when the second round resumes.
