Rumour Mill: Juventus joins chase for Ademola Lookman after fine AFCON 2023 form

Serie A giants, Juventus are considering making a summer move for Nigeria and Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman, according to top news tabloids in Italy.
The Super Eagles forward has been hugging headlines following his fine displays at the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, where he’s spearheading the national team’s quest for a fourth African title.
The former Fulham and Everton player has been involved in four of Super Eagles’ six goals at the tournament scoring three and provided one.
His last goal for Nigeria propelled them to the semifinal of the tournament as the Nigerian has been one of the standouts among the strikers in Serie A with his consistent contributions to Atalanta’s success.
He has also adapted well into rugged Italian league despite being one of the few England born players in the league.
Juventus is said to be attracted to Lookman’s style of play, both for Atalanta and the Nigerian national team, prompting considerations for his inclusion in their squad.
It was suggested that Lookman is among the players under consideration for a potential move to Juventus in the upcoming summer transfer window, indicating a sustained interest from the Bianconeri.
They, however need to prepare a mouthwatering offer to tempt Atalanta from listening to a deal that will price Lookman out of Artemio Franchi landlord.
