Rumour Mills: Victor Osimhen set to join Juventus after Napoli reaches agreement

By Wale Mustapha
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is set to make a move back to Serie A, with Juventus finalizing an agreement with his parent club, Napoli, for his transfer this summer.
Osimhen has reportedly agreed to join the Turin giants after discussions with Juventus’ Sporting Director, Cristiano Guintoli, as confirmed by respected Tuttosport journalist Raffaele Auriemma.
Juventus have submitted an official bid of €85 million for the 26-year-old forward, and Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has granted his approval for the move, eager to cash in on the striker.
Although Osimhen is currently on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray, where he has impressed with 33 goals in 38 appearances this season, his future now lies in Serie A. His contract with Napoli runs through June 2026, but the move to Juventus will see him return to Italy’s top flight.
Osimhen previously led Napoli to the Serie A title two seasons ago, finishing as the league’s top scorer with 26 goals, and his anticipated move to Juventus is expected to further solidify his status as one of Europe’s top strikers.
