Rumour Mills: Victor Osimhen’s EPL dream nears reality as Napoli eyes Lukaku swap

Victor Osimhen’s dream of playing in the English Premier League (EPL) is edging closer to becoming a reality.

Recent reports from Serie A indicate that Napoli is considering including Osimhen in negotiations to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

Osimhen has made no secret of his desire to leave Napoli this summer and reportedly agreed on personal terms with PSG.

However, the deal is currently on hold due to unresolved agreements between the clubs.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Antonio Conte, now manager of Napoli, has expressed his desire to reunite with Lukaku, whom he previously coached at Inter Milan.

According to Romano, Napoli is actively seeking a solution for Osimhen as they aim to secure Lukaku’s signature this summer.

“Napoli is looking for solutions for Victor Osimhen as they want to bring in Romelu Lukaku as soon as possible,” Romano tweeted.

“They could also be open to discussing Osimhen as part of the talks with Chelsea. Osimhen said yes to PSG, but the deal is currently on standby between the clubs.”

Osimhen joined Napoli in 2021 and has since been instrumental in their success, winning the Scudetto in the 2022/2023 season and claiming the top scorer award.

His potential move to the EPL would mark a significant step in his career, fulfilling his long-held ambition.
