Serie A: Victor Osimhen scores as Frosinone hold 10 man Napoli to stalemate

Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen increased his Serie A goal tally as Napoli were forced to 2-2 at home by Frosinone in Italian Serie A encounter on Sunday.
The Partenopei who are gradually drifting away European football next season also finished the encounter with a man following a second booking to Mario Ruiz in the stoppage time.
Matteo Politano handed Napoli the lead in the opening 20 minutes of the match with a perfect side foot finish.
Frosinone could have level things up before half time but Soule saw his spot kick saved by Napoli’s goalkeeper.
He would then atone for the miss with an assist for the equalizer in the second as Wallid Cheddira get to the end of his through pass to head home.
Osimhen restored the lead for Napoli three minutes after the hour mark as he tucked home a deflected shot from Kvitcha Kvaratchelia.
The goal was Osimhen’s 13th in 20 appearances for Napoli in the current campaign.
Cheddira got his brace for the visitors ten minutes later taking advantage of loosed Napoli defense.
There were moments for the winning goal from both sides but the game looked destined to end in a draw which will be more of disappointment for the hosts who missed opportunity to climb to sixth spot.
