Rangers manager, Philippe Clement has heaped praises on striker, Cyriel Dessers for his fantastic performance in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

The Nigeria international brought up his top performance to score the decisive goal that sealed a 1-1 draw against Dynamo Kiev at the Lublin stadium, Poland.

Clement believes Dessers has really improved for the team, stressing that the Super Eagles forward has been a nightmare for defenders and he has grown tall in the game.

“If you compare him to seven months ago, he does much more for the team,” Clement was quoted by BBC.

“Maybe people have a perception of him, but I know that no defenders like to play against him. He’s only growing. That’s what we want.”

The 29-year-old canceled out the Andriy Yarmolenko 38th minute opener late in the game.

The reverse fixture will take place in Tuesday, August 13 at the Hampden Park, Scotland.

The winner between both sides will face either Salburg or Twente in the playoff round.
