Wilfred Ndidi stars for Leicester City in a stalemate with Crystal Palace

Nigeria vice-captain Wilfred Ndidi, delivered a man-of-the-match performance in Leicester City’s 2-2 Premier League draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Following a strong start in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers with Nigeria, Ndidi continued his impressive form by providing two assists for Leicester. His contributions helped Leicester to an early lead with goals from captain Jamie Vardy and Stephy Mavididi.

Despite Leicester’s bright start, Crystal Palace staged a remarkable comeback. Stephen Mateta scored twice for the Eagles, first netting in the 47th minute and then converting a stoppage-time penalty to level the score.

The draw means both teams remain in search of their first win of the new season.
