FC Robo Queens and Ikorodu City are 2024 Lagos FA Cup winners

In the recently concluded 2024 Lagos State FA Cup, FC Robo Queens and Ikorodu City emerged as the champions in the women’s and men’s categories respectively.

In the women’s final, FC Robo Queens showcased their dominance with a commanding 4-1 victory over Dannaz Ladies, another top-tier Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership side.

Folashade Ijamilusi’s brace, along with goals from Adedoyin Afolayan and Oladipo Shukurat, secured the win for Emmanuel Osahon’s side, extending their record to a remarkable 14th Lagos State FA Cup title.

Notably, this victory also marked their 11th consecutive title win, highlighting their unparalleled consistency and prowess in women’s football in Lagos.

On the men’s side, Ikorodu City clinched the title with a solid 2-0 win against Inter Lagos.

Goals from Harrison Uzondu and Tosin Oyedokun in each half propelled the Oga Boys to victory, sealing their triumph in the Lagos State FA Cup.

With these victories, FC Robo Queens, Dannaz Ladies, Ikorodu City, and Inter Lagos have all secured spots in the prestigious Federation Cup, reflecting the high level of competition and talent showcased in the Lagos football scene.
