NWFL Premiership: Taiwo Afolabi satisfied with Delta Queens draw at Robo Queens

By Saheed Afolabi

Delta Queens captain, Taiwo Afolabi has expressed satisfaction over the away point gotten at the expense of Robo Queens at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.

The Pearls held their host to goalless draw amidst series of chances which should have changed the score line of converted.

Afolabi admitted the tie was a difficult one but glad they walked away with a point as she believes his side’s mistakes will be worked on to have a good outing in the Federation Cup.

“The game wasn’t easy but we thank God for the away point. It was a good game and tough game but the result is good one for us,” Afolabi told Nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.

“We will learn from our mistakes in this game and work on improvement in our next game.

“It hasn’t been a good season for us but we will be better next season. Our focus will now be shifted on having a great performance and winning the Federation Cup.”

Delta Queens will host Edo Queens in their next game at the Stephen Keshi stadium Asaba while hoping on finishing the swaps on a high.
