Emmanuel Micheal: Former Nigeria U17 star joins Austrian club

Nigeria promising defender, Emmanuel Micheal has joined LASK on a season-loan deal.
Micheal joined the Austrian side from Simobein Academy with the Black and Whites having the option of making the deal permanent at the end of his loan contract.
Expressing excitement over the loan deal, Simobein Academy announced the deal on their X social media handle while wishing the youngster all the best in Austria.
“We are excited to announce that we have agreed for the transfer of our academy prodigy, Emmanuel Michael, on a season-long loan to Austrian side LASK,” Simobein wrote on their X account.
“We are proud of you and will never stop supporting you the best way we can.”
Micheal was spotted with his classic display for Nigeria at the 2022 Wafu B U17 tournament in Ghana where he outshined his contemporaries on the pitch.
The 18 year old was a major force for the Golden Eaglets qualification to the U17 AFCON.
