Nigeria forward Chinaza Uchendu aiming for goals and glory in France

Nigeria international, Chinaza Uchendu is gearing up for a new chapter with French side, Nantes.
Uchendu joined the French side from Turkish giant, Galatasaray and she’s excited to join the club. She is familiar with France, having been to the city in 2019 for the FIFA Women’s World Cup and commended the huge crowd that came to watch the Falcons.
The Former Sporting Braga and Linkopings striker is committed to scoring goals and creating worthwhile memories with the club.
“I am happy to join the FC Nantes club. I will discover this championship, which I know almost nothing about,” Uchendu was quoted by Nantes.
“But this is not the first time I have come to France. I took part in the World Cup in 2019 (Nigeria was eliminated by Germany in the round of 16).
“I remember the crowd. I had never played in front of so many people before. I had faced big names. I am super excited at the idea of meeting this crowd again, the fans, of creating new memories.”
