Bendel Insurance confident of ending away-day woes at Kwara United

Bendel Insurance technical adviser Kennedy Boboye believes his side can secure a result at Kwara United on Sunday and record their first away victory of the Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Benin Arsenals will visit the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin for their Matchday 11 fixture, having lost every away match they have played in the campaign so far.
Despite their poor record on the road, Insurance travel in confident mood after producing a notable 2-1 home victory over league leaders Rivers United last weekend. The result ended the Pride of Rivers’ unbeaten run.
Insurance have also maintained a strong record at home this season, with their victory over Rivers United following an earlier win that ended Barau FC’s unbeaten run.
Boboye said the team would approach the trip to Ilorin positively, while acknowledging that the season still had plenty of time to unfold.
“We will keep pushing. Nothing is impossible. The league is still fresh. We are going to Kwara in our next game; we will see what happens,” Boboye told the club’s media.
The former Nigeria Premier Football League champions have taken 15 points from nine matches and are ninth in the table.
Boboye added that the squad’s recent progress had increased his confidence ahead of the meeting with Kwara United.
“I am happy. We are getting better, and hopefully, we get a positive result in Ilorin.”
