Inter end Feyenoord’s unbeaten home record against Italian clubs in Champions League win

Inter Milan responded to their 3-1 derby defeat by AC Milan with a convincing 3-0 victory away to Feyenoord at De Kuip on Tuesday.

The result gave Inter their second win of this season’s Champions League and moved them on to six points, leaving them 14th in the league-phase table. Feyenoord remain on three points in 30th place.

Inter’s victory also ended a notable home record for the Dutch club. Feyenoord had previously avoided defeat in all six of their home matches against Italian opposition in the Champions League league phase, or the group stage under the former format, recording four wins and two draws.

The Italian side took control early and opened the scoring after eight minutes. Jan Bisseck struck a powerful effort to put Inter in front.

Francesco Pio Esposito doubled the visitors’ advantage in the 34th minute, heading home to give Inter a two-goal lead before half-time.

Feyenoord were unable to produce a response after the break as Inter continued to dominate. Piotr Zielinski completed the scoring nine minutes into the second half with a fierce shot, effectively settling the match.

The win came just days after Inter suffered a 3-1 defeat by their city rivals AC Milan in Serie A, making the return to European competition an immediate opportunity to recover.

The fixtures listed alongside the report include Heerenveen against Feyenoord in the Eredivisie on 08 November 2026 and Como against Inter in Serie A on the same date.
