Chinedu Udechukwu: Former Slovenian NK Olimpija Ljubljana defender slumps, dies 

Nigerian football family has been thrown into a mourning mood following news of experienced defender, Chinedu Udechukwu who gave up the ghost on Thursday.

According to information from close associate of the late defender, Udechukwu slumped and died in Jos, Plateau State, on Wednesday, 21st December, 2022, after complaining of severe headache.

“Edu”, as he Udechukwu was fondly called, was a young man full of life and great dreams.

He was also a phenomenal figure as far as club football is concerned in Nigeria.

He has played for quite number of top clubs in Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL including Enyimba FC, Nasarawa United, Katsina United FC and Sunshine Stars FC of Akure.
