Bayelsa Queens have sympathized with the bereaved families of their late fans who had lost their lives in an accident enroute to support the club in the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership Super Six final in Asaba.
At the funeral of the four deceased fans, the chairman of the Prosperity Girls, Pastor Robin Apreala prayed God comforts the bereaved families and strengthens them.
“We send our deepest sympathy, we pray that God comforts the families the departed souls left behind. We pray that God gives their families the strength to live life to the fullest,” Apreala told the club media.
“Bayelsa Queens FC join the Igali, Ogidi and Diripigi families of Eniwari and Fonibiri communities in Southern Ijaw LGA to mourn the four promising young men who in some ways had contributed to the success of Bayelsa Queens FC.
“Our thoughts are with the families and that on behalf of the entire Bayelsa Queens team, the families should accept our deepest sympathies.”
The club’s supporters that lost their lives are Mr Eze Igali 38 years, Mr Kurotimi Igali 36 years, Mr Philemon Ogidi 38 years and Mr Clement Diripigi 34 years.
