Gusau leads Nigeria FA delegation to Australia for FIFA Congress

President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau led the Nigerian contingents to upcoming congress of world football governing body, FIFA billed to take place in Sydney, Australia on Saturday.

The NFF delegation that also include its Secretary General, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi left Nigeria through Abuja on Wednesday where they are expected to join other members associations.

The FIFA Congress meeting is to to appraise the FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand and also chart more ways to improve women’s football among other issues.

FIFA President, Gianni Infantino is also expected to brief members associations on the progress of the sport so far as well as reiterate his continued support to the Congress members.

The NFF contingent are expected to be among the dignitaries to witness the final between Spain and England on Sunday before returning to Nigeria.
